TobeHired is free and there is no sign-up. This page explains, in plain English, what happens to your information when you use it. Last updated 12 October 2026.
Who runs this site
TobeHired is run by Tobe Martins, a freelance graphic and motion designer in Norwich. It is independent and not affiliated with the job sites it links to.
What we collect
We do not ask for your name, email address or any account details. The site does not add advertising or analytics tools, and it does not set tracking cookies.
What stays on your device
The ticks you make in the 7-day plan are saved in your own browser so they are still there when you come back. They are not sent to us. You can remove them any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
The job and town you type into the search box also stay in your browser.
When you open a job site
Pressing a search button opens that job site in a new tab with your search in the link. From that point the job site's own privacy policy applies, not ours.
The TobeHired assistant
The assistant is an AI, so it can make mistakes and it cannot see live vacancies.
- The messages you send, and the nation and town shown on the page, are passed through our server to Anthropic's Claude so it can write a reply.
- TobeHired does not save your chats and does not log the text of your messages. Use "New chat" to clear the conversation from the page.
- Anthropic handles the text it receives under its own privacy policy.
- To stop misuse, the server briefly counts how many messages come from the same internet connection. This is not kept as a record.
- Please do not type passwords, bank or ID details, or sensitive personal information into the assistant. If you paste a CV, leave out your date of birth and full address.
Hosting and fonts
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's servers handle your internet address and basic technical details to deliver the page and keep it secure. The page's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google when the page loads. Both companies handle that information under their own policies.
Your rights
Because TobeHired does not collect information that identifies you, there is nothing held here for us to look up or delete. For information held by Vercel, Google, Anthropic or a job site, contact that company. The UK data protection regulator is the Information Commissioner's Office.
